Why I Started the Art Class
With many years of teaching experience abroad, I have worked with children from diverse cultural backgrounds. Through these experiences, I realized that art is a universal language that allows people to express themselves beyond words. This inspired me to start this art class, with the goal of helping children discover the joy of creative expression while gaining confidence in using English.
Yamauchi Akiko graduated from Aoyama Gakuin Women’s Junior College, Department of Art.
After working as a teaching assistant in the Department of Art, she moved to the UK. She studied English and Art in earnest at Ludlow College in the UK. In Australia, she obtained qualifications as a children’s English teacher.
For many years, she has been teaching art to children of various nationalities in Australia. She currently teaches Japanese children, focusing on lessons that not only help them develop creativity through art, but also confidence and an international sensibility.
English x Art Workshop! ’ Create, Play, and Learn together!’ A fun art class for all nationalities come together to explore colors, shapes, and creativity. Through painting, crafting, and collaborative projects, kids gain confidence expressing themselves in English and making new friends.

Twice-a-Month Elementary & Junior High school students class monthly fee ¥6,500 (includes materials fee).
